Why Cold Therapy
Regular cold exposure may support recovery, circulation, mood and resilience. Most enthusiasts plunge at 37–55°F for 1–5 minutes, a few times per week.
How to Start
Begin warm-ish (around 55°F) for short durations and build tolerance. Focus on slow, controlled breathing. Never plunge alone when you're new to it, and exit if you feel unwell.
Chiller vs. Ice
A chiller-equipped plunge holds a precise temperature with filtration so it's always ready — the convenient, low-maintenance choice. Cedar and stock-tub setups use ice and are beautiful and elemental, but require more effort.
